Got up: 4am
Breakfast: Apricot Muesli, soya milk, banana and honey, water.
Location: London Hyde park, green park
Conditions: Water – perfect, Bike – tarmac, little undulating, Run – tarmac,
Weather: little hot, bit windy
Swim: Nice and steady swim, just paced myself
Bike: First bit of the bike is always hard, didn’t really get into my rhythm until around 6k, coming up Constitution Hill was windy with a deceptive incline, nice to have my parents cheering me on in front of Buckingham Palace.
Run: Started well,steady lap times, slowed towards the end though.
Distances: swim – 1500m – bike 40k – run 10k
